My name is Dr. Greg Ceyhan and the name of my practice is Aesthetic Dentistry of Arrowhead.

There are people who are not candidates for Invisalign. These usually involve more complex cases of trying to straighten the teeth where there’s a severe amount of crowding of the teeth or there’s such a huge misalignment of the upper and lower jaws that their problems are beyond just straightening a few crooked teeth. Usually aligners such as Invisalign or ClearCorrect should be used to really treat minor cases or moderate cases, not severe cases.

The most popular procedures right now is straightening your teeth with aligners. And one of the most popular brands out there is Invisalign. I’m sure you’ve seen the commercials for it. There’s another product called ClearCorrect. We offer both here at Aesthetic Dentistry of Arrowhead. And its a good way to straighten teeth for people who are image conscious and don’t want to necessarily wear braces. Also, for people who already had braces as children and as adults, now their teeth have relapsed or had a little bit of their teeth getting crooked again. This is a fantastic way to straighten their teeth again, without having to go through wearing braces all over again.

I’d say almost everybody has the option of getting their teeth straightened. We all know that a straighter, whiter smile definitely looks better on someone. And braces are usually a hindrance to a lot of people to get their teeth straightened, but we also even have cosmetic options as far as braces are concerned. We have porcelain or ceramic braces that are white in color. So, you can’t really see them all that well when they’re on patients teeth. So, that’s another cosmetic option of straightening your teeth other than Invisalign or ClearCorrect.
